THE SOURCE FOR SCIENCE AND READING INSPIRATION

You made it! Today we’re at the end of seven weeks of bite-sized learning. And though this post is a day later than previously stated (with two young boys it is hard to keep track of Labor Day on the calendar!), today I’m announcing the WINNERS of the One Small Change Summer Challenge. Yes, that’s right, winners – plural!

We had three dedicated teachers blast past the challenge finish line (one is retired and took her name out of the grand prize running), so I decided to award the grand prize to BOTH finishers. Holly and Karyn, I am so excited to gift you STEM resources to support your students this year!! (Expect an email from me in your inbox today!)

But, let’s be honest, the real prize is the new knowledge you can use to get your students excited about science and reading! From all of your thoughtful posts, I can tell your students are lucky to be led by such creative and talented educators!

That wraps up our One Small Change Summer Challenge, yet it isn’t THE END. I’ll continue to provide STEM resources here on the blog and on my Facebook page. If you have a specific question or would like to see posts about a particular topic, please don’t hesitate to use the contact form below or reach out to me on Facebook. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to support you throughout the year!

PS  –  If you enjoyed and benefitted from this professional development, please consider recommending me to your administrators. I am passionate about helping teachers to spark a love of science in every child, and I love to help teachers find ways to get a bit more science into their daily routines – especially with picture books! Word of mouth is the primary way educators learn about me, so I greatly appreciate your referrals. You can learn more about my online and in-person offerings here. I also provide long-term science PD for districts through our Virtual Science Coach.
