K-5 Science Standards Master Class

Spark story ideas, identify market gaps, perfect pitches

TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS beginning JANUARY 13th – SIX webinar series

8 am PDT/9 am MDT/10 am CDT/11 pm EDT

Have you ever wanted to know more about the Next Generation Science Standards yet haven’t had time to wade deep into documents? Are you looking for new story sparks or wondering what books teachers are searching for but can’t find?

Let’s explore each of the 78 K-5 NGSS together!

We will:

  • learn to navigate the online documents (including uncovering “hidden” evidence!)

  • explore the meaning of each standard

  • identify standards language with pitch potential

  • browse mentor texts for each standard

  • discuss gaping holes that teachers need filled

We’ll wrap each webinar with a Q&A where you can ask about standards for your specific manuscripts.

You’ll walk away with a list of ideas (perfect for Storystorm!), standards that fit your projects, and comps to study.

Your information will not be shared with any outside party. Future webinar offerings will be emailed. (Opt-out if you wish.)
